On 17th of July 2008, CREAM received two visitors, Professor Sr. Omar Munir, Head Department of Built Environment Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and Professor Allan Ashworth from University of Salford, United Kingdom who is also the Adjunct Professor at UTAR. They were briefed on roles and functions of CIDB and CIMP 2006-2015 by Ir. Dr. Zuhairi Abd. Hamid, Executive Director of CREAM and the presentation on IBS Roadmap 2003-2010 by Ir. Noraini Bahri the General Manager of Technology and Innovation Development Sector, CIDB. At the end of the discussion both parties agreed to further enhance the collaboration and share knowledge on the latest development of UK and Malaysian construction. They also seek on research potential and collaboration with CIDB and CREAM in the near future.
