Board (CIDB) Malaysia is looking for highly
motivated and qualified candidates for the following
posts:

Responsibilities
Provide
effective and efficient technical service for
the lab works
Provide
essential support to other lab staff in the
production of lab testing equipment and experiments
Undertake
machining works
In-charge
in the assembly and construction of testing
rigs for structural testing including working
in a wide variety of engineering materials
To
strip down the test rigs and equipments and
dispose of large completed test specimens
To
keep the lab working area and the surrounding
clean and tidy
Assist
test engineer in performing in-house maintenance
of facilities and lab equipment including machineries,
manuals and other facilities
Maintain
lab inventory of equipment, supplies and testing
materials
Assist
researcher in planning the development, replacement
and maintenance of testing equipment and other
lab facilities
Perform
other works and other lab works pertinent to
the job as per lab manager request
Requirements
Diploma
in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
(or equivalent)
Preferably
55 years old and below with good health
A
minimum of 5 years experience working in Civil
and Structural engineering laboratory and R&D
environment
Priority
will be given to candidates with additional
technical certificates from a recognized technical
institute (or equivalent) and have previous
experience in engineering lab environment.
Recommendation
letter from previous works or any supporting
document
Additional Requirements
Posses
good communication skill in English and Bahasa
Malaysia
Good
technical writing in both language
Possessed
forklift handling and basic maintenance skills
Able
to operate overhead crane and hand stacker
Basic
computer knowledge
Able
to understand work requests and instructions
efficiently
Self-motivated
and able to work without supervision
Proven
competence and ability in the operation of hand
and machine tools and other complex operation
Knowledge
in electronic measuring and control equipment
for structural testing applications
Understanding
of mechanical equipment related to a lab environment
Willing
to work in group, able to communicate with lab
colleagues, flexible and able to undertake wide
range of duties
